A Single Variety

There is something special about bringing fresh flowers home.

Not elaborate arrangements. Not a dozen varieties competing for attention. Just a single flower, gathered in abundance and placed in a simple vase.

Tulips in the spring. Peonies when they are in season. Hydrangeas in the summer. Sometimes a handful of wildflowers picked up along the way.
