Alain Deswarte | Sculptural Forms | Ivory 5

Alain Deswarte—trained in both sculpture and landscape architecture—creates work that feels unearthed rather than made, as though discovered in the remains of an ancient, post-natural world. He is an interior designer, perspective artist, and visual artist, a graduate of the St. Luc school in Tournai. He is also a graphic designer teaching at the Camondo Méditerranée school since 2024. He lives and works in Bandol and draws his artistic inspiration from a pine forest shaped by the sun, the mistral wind, and the Mediterranean.

Hard-fire ceramic to create the sculptures coated in a textured mineral finish, mounted on reclaimed wooden blocks.
