Antique Trompe L'oeil Marble Top Table
This piece features a cream/ivory painted wood finish with a distressed, aged patina typical of Scandinavian or French provincial antiques. The most distinctive feature is the ornate carved apron, decorated with a repeating motif of circular rosettes set within rings, painted in contrasting cream, black, and gilt tones — a hallmark of Neoclassical decorative vocabulary. The legs are tapered and fluted, terminating in small block feet, adding to the refined, formal character of the piece.
