The Rafael Sofa embodies effortless sophistication—rooted in timeless form and enduring craftsmanship. Defined by its flared arms and refined exposed wood legs, the silhouette feels both grounded and elevated. Subtle tailoring and gentle curvature soften its generous proportions, offering a modern interpretation of classic comfort that feels equally at home in a formal living space or relaxed family room.

Upholstered in Morofun – Faggio, a richly textured blend of wool, cotton, polyester, and linen woven with natural tonal variation. Its nubby, heathered surface adds depth and warmth while maintaining a tailored, durable feel suited for everyday use. Finished with a Double Needle to Match for a subtle, structured edge, the bed is paired with a Loam finish that brings an earthy, grounded tone to the wood elements—balancing the upholstery with quiet, understated harmony.

Craftsmanship

Bench-made in North Carolina by a dedicated family-run upholstery workshop, the Rafael is constructed with a kiln-dried hardwood frame and a traditional eight-way hand-tied spring system for enduring support. Each piece is cut, sewn, and upholstered by hand, with refined stitching and double-needle seams highlighting the maker’s precision. The exposed wood base, shown in Loam finish, celebrates the integrity of natural materials through its visible grain and hand-applied patina.

Most styles can also be ordered in COM (Customer’s Own Material). COM fabrics must be pre-approved. Once your order is placed, our team will confirm yardage requirements and coordinate approval with the manufacturer.
